CARL & GAIL MUSCH

CARL & GAIL MUSCH

FOUNDERS

Carl and Gail Musch were among the founders of  Indigenous Ministry Links (Ltd): a non-denominational multi-cultural network of ministers supporting  Aboriginal ministries; and Indigenous Ministry Links Australia- a network of Aboriginal Local Church leaders (now directed by an 100% Aboriginal board).  Carl is  himself of complex and somewhat  obscure heritage having been adopted out at birth against his mother’s will.  Rumours of his “bloodlines” include English Convict transported to Australia, Austrian, Jewish and his father believed he was of  Apache (Native American) descent. Since 1987 when he heard an audible voice from The Lord, Carl has been committed to evangelism, discipleship, ministry development, and church planting, among Australian Aboriginal people, with proven fruit in what is recognised as a difficult field.

The ministry is distinguished by a commitment to those in the greatest need and isolation, a respect for both the dignity and ability of indigenous people, and faith in “The God of the Breakthrough.” Gail, previously ministered with “Students for Christ” in Japan and joined Carl in January 1994.

With their two children born into the team along the way, they have partnered with local Indigenous believers across both remote and more urban Aboriginal communities — though primarily in the Arnhem Land and Cape York regions of Northern Australia, involving thousands of kilometres and many days of 4WD travel, much on unsealed roads and rough bush tracks.

Carl, recognised by many as an apostle in this field,  is being sought for his simple, believer-empowering ministry insights. God’s Spirit has led Carl to address the need for labourers to meet the vast untouched opportunities for effective ministry, that exist among the First Australians. Responding to an open vision he recieved in 1998 Carl has committed to help train, facilitate and mentor both Indigenous and non-indigenous cross-cultural ministers (missionaries) in Australia, Papua New Guinea, The Pacific, and North America, with a particular vision to see Native Americans and other indigenous people across the Pacific region become Missionaries both to the Australian Outback and the “Regions Beyond”.

David Bauai

David Bauai

Papua New Guinea

David Bauai has been involved in ministry since 1996 challenged to step out in faith into full-time ministry by the “word” from a visiting Aboriginal preacher from Australia. In PNG his Tribe the “Goilalas” are feared as bandits (raskals) but it is only The Devil who has something to fear from this committed passionate and powerful missionary-evangelist.

He has served as a missionary in The Solomon Islands and helped pioneer a number of churches including “Shine for Jesus Church” in Port Moresby. In 2006 David began to explore the call of God he sensed to Missions that has resulted his becoming a missionary endorsed by Indigenous Ministry Links to work among Aboriginal Australians having completed our Missions Internship.

David is a founding director of Omega Missions International Network inc., a PNG home grown missions agency which has sponsored the ministry of “Simply Mobilizing” into PNG equipping the church and mobilizing believers to missions with courses like “The Kairos Course”. As a missionary in Australia, David has begun and is seeking partners to be able to continue regularly doing circuits of thousands of KMs in Australia’s remote Northern Territory (ArnhemLand Region) across 15 communities and a further 5 communities in Cape York to support emerging indigenous churches among under-reached tribes with Evangelism , Training and Mentoring/Encouraging Leaders. He continues to also help deliver Missionary and Missions Awareness training across PNG.

This ministry is worthy of your support. Sending missionaries is a partnership between God and His people that produces fruit and brings rewards for eternity. The Kingdom of God, and specifically the Church among remote Aboriginal peoples of Australia and the emerging Missions Movement in PNG will be advanced if you will prayerfully support David as The Lord leads.

Gaidara was born in Gordonvale Queensland. Gaidara was heavily impacted by the gospel through her grand parents accepted Jesus as Lord at 17. Although she had a period in her life involving her in drugs and alcohol Gaidara has been following Christ with a passion since for many years now.
